Importance of Games

Playing games is the most important part of our life .It is an activity that involves individual and a group .It provides us entertainment .It makes us strong both physically and mentally. When we becomes mentally fresh ,we can do our other tasks properly .Games help to keep our body fit and healthy, so the players always look handsome. If we don’t take part in any game or exercise ,we become mentally tired and cannot work properly. Games teach us leadership, team spirit and sportsmanship. They teach us to be disciplined. A disciplined person can progress a lot more than others.

Football

Football is an outdoor game played by two teams. Each of the team has eleven players that means total players in a football match are 22. This game aims to make maximum goals by each team. The team with maximum goals is called as the winner team the one with less goals becomes the loser. It is a game which is played by kicking a ball with foot. This game is also called soccer in some countries. 

Volleyball

Volleyball is a fun sport that is easy to learn and can be played in a gym, at the beach, or on grass. Playing volleyball will help improve your cardio, flexibility, balance and coordination. Most schools have a volleyball team of their own. You can also find leagues for kids at your local community center. If you're not into joining a team, you can just grab a volleyball and a few friends and play your own game.

Basketball

The traditional game of basketball is played by two teams of five players each on a rectangular court with the purpose of the game being to score field goals. The objective is to shoot the basketball through a Hoop (basketball ring) mounted on a backboard 10 feet (3.05 meters) off the ground. A field goal scores two (2) points for your team, whilst a shot made from behind the ‘3-point arc’ scores three (3) points. 

Badminton

Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponent's half of the court.

Taekwondo

Taekwondo (Tae Kwon Do) is a traditional Korean martial arts that's been progressively increasing in popularity through the last sixty decades. Taekwondo is more than just kicks and punches – it relies on concentration, combat philosophy, self-defence, and physical fitness.

Cricket

Cricket is a national sport which is played between two teams of eleven players each, who score runs (points) by running between two sets of three small, wooden posts called wickets. Each of the wickets is at one end of a rectangle of flattened grass called the pitch. Around the pitch is a much larger oval of grass called the cricket ground. There is 30 yard circle between the ground (stadium).

Handball

Handball (also known as Team Handball or Olympic Handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outfield players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
